Can you provide us your FTP access so that I can troubleshoot this on your site?

It seems like you haven't activated your Google Maps API key from your Google account, so Google return this following error when you trying to use Google map :

This API project is not authorized to use this API. Please ensure this API is activated in the Google Developers Console: https://console.developers.google.com/apis/api/geocoding_backend?project=_"

Can you try my following steps and see how it goes?
1. Go to this page -> https://console.developers.google.com/iam-admin/projects
2. Create project and check my video here : http://screencast.com/t/xnfoJH8vx
3. This is the page for activate the APIs key -> https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/get-api-key

Take note on this, if you using Chrome browser, that auto detect location will not work on non-https site, Google already restricted this.

Hi there

I have found I am having the same problem and I already have the location service and Google API configured.

The location function was previously working ok. So perhaps this is a wider issue...

Hi Paul Lee-Maynard,

We suspected that you may have not configure your API key correctly, or maybe you can try to enable this 'Use Static maps' option first as you can see here http://take.ms/VOrLq and see how it goes.

If problems still persist, can you provide us with admin access on your Google API key on this email arlex.wong@stackideas.com and warith@stackideas.com , your backend access, FTP access by creating a new thread instead of posting them in in this thread as this is much easier for both of side, as you will get fast response and faster solving your issues.

Thanks for your understanding.

Thanks for the reply Abdul. As I said, this was working fine and I have checked the API key is the same one I use across my site to display google maps. So before I spend time creating a new thread and providing site access, I'll double check things. If i still have problems, I'll go ahead and create a new ticket.

Thanks
Paul
