Hello Stackideas,

From my search in the forums and if I remember well this feature was asked nearly two years ago for easyblog.

The problem I am facing is part of my registered members are professionals paying for visibility.
Some of these businesses are located in an industrial area which can be very large and has 1 main address with "zones and numbers" not a normal address.

For this reason they really need to enter a gps latitude and longitude to make their exact location visible otherwise part of the paying deal is not fulfilled by my side.

Is there a chance you implement this feature soon?

I will also VOICE it in case...
Hi,

I am sorry for the late reply and for the misunderstanding earlier.
Currently location map in EasySocial do accept latitude and longitude coordinate but it will not stored the exact position. It will suggest to you the nearest position available with address.

As for your question, "is there a chance you implement this feature soon?"

I am very sorry because our hands are pretty tied to our existing development and the EB5 right now. We will try to get back to you as soon as we finished our task. By the way, if this a priority, please do post them on our sales section at https://crm.stackideas.com and our sales department would get back to you with a proper quote.

Please advise.

Hello,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. Hm, not entirely sure if I understand you here. Do you mean you want to search for "nearby" posts for EasyBlog?

Hello Mark,

Not at all.
It concerns all Stackideas components but in my personal case EasySocial is a priority.

Simply, instead of entering an address we need the possibility to enter GPS latitude and longitude

Here's an example when no address is found and you need to enter latitude and longitude to get the exact position:
3.060253, 101.505159
( type this code in google maps you will understand, there is one address but maybe hundreds of residents in a dozen of buildings)

Note: I have no ideas what is this location I just wanted to find an example in Sengalor

Hello.

When you enter latitude and longitude, EasySocial not give the exact position but EasySocial will suggest you the nearest position. Here is the video : http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-02-24_1905.swf
