Hi there,

I have a question, with all page builders thats ut on the market today, it can be a pain to get comments to work properly. I understand that if you use a page builder you might have stepped away from standard Joomla functionality, but my question is if its possible to load comments with a tag like {comment}, or even with a module, which would allow me to place the tag we I want it to go, rather then within the article itself. Im using YooTheme Pro for a project which would allow me to do this, if it was supported by Komento. Is this possible, or will it have to be a feature request?
Hello Christian,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Unfortunately Komento does not support such tags currently on anywhere on the page. It only checks against the article content.

The only way to implement what you are suggesting is to associate comments with the current page url along with a system plugin to detect any {comment} text on the page. The tricky part though is when the page url changes, where it needs to really understand how to associate comments on the current page.
