I afraid to ask the first question because I feel like I am missing something REALLY simple since I can't find any references to this anywhere in the forum......

Registering in Easysocial - I have a Terms field setup that is required - no problem - but how do I set up links in the text area to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy pages on the site? The box doesn't seem to accept code and I can't see a setting for links on the right hand side. It's really important to provide the links to be safe harbor compliant, particularly re Privacy.

Second question - in what files do I find the reference to the link URL in Komento and Easydiscuss to register? I would like to change the current links (which point to to community/registration) instead to point to community/login so that users get the option to sign in using Facebook.

Thank you.
Hello David,

What links are you referring in the terms field? Can you please advise? As for the registration links, I have already replied you in the ticket.

Hi Mark - sorry for not being clear.

In the registration form I want to show something like "By registering as a user on the site you agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use." which I have in the text field box, it is required and the checkbox shows below with "I agree to the terms and conditions above".

I would like the terms shown above in bold to be hyperlinks to their respective pages (/terms-of-use and /privacy-policy) but when I try to enter code into the text box in Custom Fields setup it is discarded and shows plain text when saved. How can I set up those anchor text terms as links? The way it is now doesn't give the user an easy way to find and review the legal documents if they wish to.

Thanks again for your help, also with the other question.

Hello Matt,

I am sorry but it is currently not possible yet but we'll try to see if we can push this in 1.2.

Hi,

You can change the mode through backend -> Profile Types -> Custom Fields, click on the Terms field to load up the configuration to configure it.
