Hi

A small but large problem, if you could have a look into it please.

When some of my users share things to facebook from the blog page, the links that are going through are not accurate.

Please see the two screen shots attached, th efirst one is of the link on Facebook, note the link address in the bottom left corner.

Then the second photo shows the actual article where the link http://www.solidbackgrounds.com/1920x1080-orange-color-wheel-orange-crayola-orange-pantone-three-color-background.html
which features in the link from Facebook.

But if this article was shared then why is it only showing a copyright link rather than the cover or first photo in the arrticle?

I am confused! Doesn't take much!!
Hi again

Sorry but I just found another funny link posted by the same user.

Please see the screen shot attached, surely this shouldn't be like this? I will continue to look for more and post here.

Sorry

One more, just to give you a few.

I am showing you this screenshot, because I was thinking it could be the user that is having a problem only, as things I share are fine, so I looked at their profile and saw that they are posting other blog page entires no problem.

So now I am really confused!!

Hi Alex,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

I believe Facebook is caching the incorrect result right after the link is shared and it will corrected itself over time. I just tried to share the link into my facebook account and it seems like the picture and the information is displaying correctly from my end, http://screencast.com/t/VHeApGcmpV .

Hope these can help.

Hi Ezrul

Thanks for the suggestion, is there any way I can avoid this happening in the future?

Hi Alex,

You can try to test using the direct link of your stream item or video or photo as unregistered user and see if you are able to access it or not.
