When we create a blog post an email goes out to our registered users with the content of the blog
However any links in the post do get formatted correctly in the email. See screenshots from the post and the resultant email.
See the screenshots.
Can someone advise what I may be doing wrong?

Note: We use JCE Editor to edit the posts not the Easyblog Composer
The Links I inserted in the example were:
1. Link to a menu item on the web site
2. Link to a Edocman File

After i checked further in my locally, it seems like when you add a link or Docman file link into blog content, it actually added non-sef link, you can check my attached screenshot below.

The reason why these non-sef link become SEF link when you view this blog post on your site is because it rely on the Joomla SEF system plugin, but it will not trigger it on the email section, so you will hit this issue.

I can provide the fix which can show the content correctly with the permalink, but unfortunately that was no other way to fix this permalink, so those permalink will show non-sef link, you can check my attached 2 last screenshot below.

Hi Alex,
I just went back to the site and saw there is a SEF plugin Edocman (see screen shot)
I will contact Edocman support and see if this might fix the edocman links in Easyblog.
Would the fix you provide be a fix to Easyblog email? and would this fix work if we upgrade Easyblog in the future?

Based on what your screenshot, i believe that plugin only support if you install Sh404sef extension on your site.

Would the fix you provide be a fix to Easyblog email? and would this fix work if we upgrade Easyblog in the future?

Yes, actually that fix i mentioned in earlier already added in Easyblog 5.2 but this Easyblog 5.2 still under alpha version.

If you would like to fix on your site, perhaps you can provide us with your FTP access so I can apply the fix into your site and do some testing and see whether can work correctly or not.

I already applied some fix on your site regarding this file -> JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/post/post.php

It should work fine now but it only show non-sef link from the email section, you can check my attached screenshot below.

You can try temporary turn off these email notification setting from backend (http://take.ms/jidmJ), only leave send to admin setting, then you resend email notification from backend blog listing page. http://take.ms/T1242
