Hi,

I have configured the LinkedIn App and Easysocial exactly like it is described in the documentation. App is verified and everything approved by LinkedIn. Nevertheless, when I click on the Register-Button, the Linkedin registration process does NOT start. Instead I am redirected to component/users/login?Itemid=275 (which is the start page of my website).

Can you please check?

Thanks
Uwe
Hi Uwe,

Can you provide us the link where you click on the LinkedIn button so I can follow your sign in process?

EDIT: Is this where you clicked the LinkedIn button? ...../de/login
If yes, then you are redirected because the guest user is not allowed to access the related menu item as you can see in the attached screenshot.

Sure. It‘s the Login in the Main Menue. If you Chose this menue item, you will find the EasySocial Login Form with the LinkedIn Button.

Alright.

To address the login redirection issue, you have to create an EasySocial registration menu item and make sure guest users can access it.

I noticed another error from LinkedIn once you solve the login redirection issue. Make sure the products in the attached screenshot are approved on your LinkedIn app.
