Hi SI Team,

I worked with you guys on EasyDiscuss and I'm back to give EasyBlog a try!

I'm having some issues getting my LinkedIn autoposting to work. Facebook autoposting works fine. I have created an API with LinkedIn and I've attached the details. When I was testing this over the weekend, the API usage reported that post calls were happening when I initiated it from EasyBlog. I tried about 4 of them and none showed up on my LinkedIn wall. Now, when I just took that screenshot from LinkedIn, the API usage screen is saying that there's no activity for this API. I'm not sure what's going on there.

Do you have any ideas how to fix this? I think I have everything configured properly.

Thanks!

Mel
Hello Mel,

Thanks for using our Easyblog product
I have checked you provided that attachment screenshot, it seems like you missed configure the 2 field in your Linkedin apps page, check my screenshot below.

After you set your site domain name, click save. (Linkedin apps setting page)
-> then click revoke button
-> then click regenerate button
-> Save

After you done above step, you have to manually delete the access token data from your phpmyadmin > find this table "jos_easyblog_oauth" > then you will see this linkedin row " http://screencast.com/t/2X9ow6jHs " > so you have to delete it

Then GOTO > backend > Easyblog > Autoposting > Linkedin > Sign in with Linkedin

Then it should work fine. If you have done what i show you that instruction above and the blog post still can't autopost to your Linkedin account, can you pass to us with your Linkedin access as well? please advise.

Hi Arlex,

I followed the instructions but it still isn't working for me. It is pretty much doing the same thing. Could I add you as an administrator to the LinkedIn API? I just sent you an invite through LinkedIn.

Thanks!

Hello Mel,

Sorry for late reply to this, it seems like your Linkedin apps is configure correct, only you forget to regenerate the token, i have help you do that already.

What is the next thing you need to do now is go to your Revoke the Linkedin access, but you have to do in your phpmyadmin > find this table "jos_easyblog_oauth" > then you will see this linkedin row " http://screencast.com/t/2X9ow6jHs " > so you have to delete it > after delete it then go to your Easyblog Linkedin autopost setting > Click Sign in with Linkedin

Because i can't access your database and LInkedin, so this step you have to do it yourself unless you give this 2 access for me.
Hope this help.

I still can't get it to work. I've followed all the instructions. I've included my PHP access so you can check it out.

Hello Mel,

I'm sorry but it is hard for us to debug without an access to your linkedin account since we have limited access to it. You can provide us your account and we will fix it once and for all. Please advise.

Hi Arlex,

Thanks for working on this. It unfortunately still doesn't do what I want it to do. I don't want to post under my LinkedIn name. I want it to post under my company name, SemiElectronics - The Semiconductor & Electronics Resource. I have that configured properly in EasyBlog but the posts are showing up under my name. Is there a way to fix that? Even though I've got my company name set up in the Autoposting configuration in EasyBlog, the posts still don't show up there.

Thanks!

Hi Arlex,

I'm having an issue setting up Twitter too. I've generated the API key and API secret. I'm getting the attached error. I have the App set with read and write permissions. Any idea what it could be?

Hi Arlex,

I should've probably mentioned that I'm getting that error when I try to Sign in with Twitter under the Twitter access field of the EasyBlog twitter autoposting setup.
