I have just tested this on your site and it is definitely not related to the story modifications because if I renamed the file /templates/protostar/html/com_easysocial/story/default.php , the script is still not sending the url to the server.

I believe there are other modifications that you have performed which may have affected this.

I have not made any other changes lately.
last week and it worked.
Since then I have only updated 2.1.8 to 2.1.9
An update to Cometchat too, can it come from this update?

It looks like after the update, your template override file is still using the old codes which causes the issue.

I have helped you include the new codes in the following template override file:
/templates/protostar/html/com_easysocial/story/links/plugin.js
