I have tried again...
At Facebook the link is working and there is some text. But the image is not showing.
At LinkedIn the link is also working, the image is shown. But there is only the headline and no other text...

May i know which links are you referring to? It would be best if you can provide us with those link for further check on this issues.

By the way, for Facebook, i suspected that, Facebook still not recognize your links, maybe you can try to check them here https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing/ and click on 'Scrape again' in order for them to fetch correct images as you can see here http://take.ms/jKfl6

I have tested this using Facebook debugger and it is working as it should as you can see as listed below.

http://take.ms/ncfMV - it already stated why Facebook doesn't use those image you set on your blog post.

For 'Scrape again' options, you need to click on it continuously(few time) in order for Facebook to fetch them. Please advice.

It will not shown correctly for the first becuase of Facebook crawler doesn't fetch it yet. Using debugger is one of the way, but i think, if you try to share same link again, it will fetched corrected data.
