Hi, and happy Eid !

Do you know how I can limit the number of subscription per user ? I don't want them to have more than one yearly subscription at a time, but I can find the parameter, or the right documentation article...

Best

Paul
Hello Polo,

Payplans Limit Subscription app allow you to limit the subscription to user according to subscription status.
Refer below mentioned link for more details.

Update me if you have any query.

Hi,

Thanks for your answer. I've set up the app, but maybe I've misunderstood something. I want that users that have subscribed to a plan can not subscribe another time to the same plan, or to another type of plan.

Indeed, they can not subscribe another time to the same plan with this, but they can still subscribe to another type of plan.

You can see the settings I've set up on the screenshot attached.

Do you know how I can do what I expect ?

Hello Polo,

According to the screen shot you have attached, limit is set to 1 for active subscription , so user will have only 1 subscription at a time (with active state).

Indeed, they can not subscribe another time to the same plan with this, but they can still subscribe to another type of plan.
If you mean , if user already subscribed to that plan then this plan will not shown on plan page then , then you can do this by setting this in payplans configuration.
Backend Payplans >> Configuration >> Advance , here set Display Existing Subscribed Plans to No.
see attached screen shot.

Correct me if i misunderstood and explain me with example.

Hi Manisha,

Thanks for your answer. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear before.

What I want is the following :

3 plans exists on my site : A; B; C

- user subscribes to plan A
- user is therefore unable to subscribe to another plan A for the duration of his subscription
- user can not subscribe to plan B or C for the duration of his subscription

I want this for each plan (A; B; C).

is that any clearer ?

Hello Polo,

# You need to setup limit subscription (limit 1 and active subscription ) app for all plans A, B, C as you have setup previously.

# If user already subscribed to Plan A then not able to subscribe Plan B & Plan C and vice versa.
Using Parent Child app you can achieve this. If user already subscribed to Plan A then Plan B & Plan C will not shown to that user.
Same for other plans also. See attached screen shot for example how to setup this.

Refer below mentioned document for more details.
https://stackideas.com/docs/payplans/administrators/advanced/parent-child-relationships
(document images in attached images)

Let me know if you have any query or correct me if i misunderstood.

Hi Manisha,

Sorry for my late answer, I've been busy working on another project. I'm gonna look onto the parent/child app.

Thanks again,
