Limit Update status Frequency

Is there anyway we can limit posts (Story Updates) for users to 3 per minute.

Was asking because some users are spamming.

We can ban these users, but some of their posts are good, so if there is a limit then possibly they might be discouraged.

Unfortunately it is not possible to limit this currently as we don't have a settings for this. It would be a good anti spam feature though.
