How can I limit the amount of words in the activity stream posts for all users?
I know we can truncate it, but that is not what we want.

Thanks.
Hey Ettienne,

This is currently not possible but is there any reasons for limiting the characters eh? Is this due to spams? With EasySocial 2.1, we have added a new ACL for flood control where a user can be restricted to post x amount of posts in a specific interval.

Hi Guys,

I'd like to +1 this for sure.

We tend to publish long articles, and without truncation, it's a real pain when trying to view the stream...

There isn't any reason this couldn't / shouldn't be truncated, especially since there's a 'continue reading' link already included at the bottom and other posts can be automatically truncated using settings from the configuration.

Is there any type of workaround that I could put in place since you haven't built it into the core app?

Thanks!

Hey Todd,

This is already possible with the latest version of EasySocial. By the way, which type of streams are you referring to because it can be configured in the respective app in EasySocial.
