Limit groups based on ACL

Is it possible to limit a group based on its ACL?
for example... if I wanted to create a group called "council"
and the acl for that group would be "subscribers"
Can I set the group so that only the users in the acl group "subscribers" could access the group?
If so, how?

Sorry, we don't have a feature that can limit group based on its ACL.

But you can use invite only group types because this group types only group members can invite other users to join this group and will not appear in search results.
