Hello,

Thanks for your answer.

The problem is when I go in Point in EasyDiscuss back end and I want to configure the setting for "Like your reply".

I have to choose a rule as on the screenshot attached. But I can't find the rule concerned.

Thanks for your help,

Edgar

Hi there,

Sorry for confusion caused above.

Those points only can be used once only, that why you cant choose different type of parameters. Thanks for your understanding

No problem. It's maybe me who is confused.

Actually what I can't achieve is that user earns points when another user like his reply.

I modified the points as you can see on the new screenshot and it doesn't work.
User only earn point when they like a post, not when their posts are liked by another.

Hi there,

I have tested those points and it added correctly as you can see here https://screencast.com/t/2J7jzZ48m. It will added one if you like other replies or your replies as shown on your current points id that is 24 as shown https://screencast.com/t/AIAH0oNtqv4. Maybe i have replicated this wrongly, please advice.

Ok so it's me who didn't understand.

Actually I don't want people earn point when they like replies.

I want a user (example : user 1) earns point when someone else likes the replies of user1.

How can I do that ?

Hi there,

You have to disable this "Like your reply" options as this will gave points to user if they liked their own replies or maybe you can refer to this table "_discuss_rules" for better understand their roles. Please give it a check and see how it goes

Hi there,

It seems that i also got confused here

Maybe i need to explain more on those rules below.

For LIKE A REPLY rule, this rule only applied to the person that liked a reply except his own replies. For example, User A likes reply from User B. On this conditions, User A will get those points.

For LIKE YOUR REPLY rule, this rule only applied to the person that his reply liked by others except his own replies. for example, User A likes reply from User B. On this conditions, User B will get those points.

So from explanations above, 'Like your reply' rule can achieved what you required above. Hope this cleared all confusion caused.

Thanks for your explanation.

Actually it's the problem I met :
I can't make works the rule Like your reply.

All my test didn't function. I like the replies of another user and he didn't earn point

And nothing is displayed in Point's History.

Thanks for your help and the time you spend on this.

Edgar

PS : I added another user account in first post if it can help you. This is a simple user who can't like answers but can have answers liked.

Hi there,

i have checked this on your database, it seems that in your "#_social_discuss" dont have that "Like your Rule" rule as you can see here https://screencast.com/t/poavQK2i. Maybe you can try to import attached sql file to your database and see how it goes .

Make sure you do full backup first before making any changes.

(Edit) I import the sql file but nothing change on the database. As it's the first time I have to do this, I'm not sure I have imported where it's necessary.

Could you please fix this bug ?

I have made a backup if necessary so you can execute sql request you need.

Thanks,

Edgar
