Hello,
I have two issues when I click on the toolbar 'categories' on the front-end.

1/ only the 'Activity assessment' category shows up, but not all the time, sometimes other ones show up as well.
2/ though I set off the 'post date' and nb of comments, I still see them in posts within a category

This is visible when clicking on the main menu "Know-How / blog" or any other "Know-How / submenu"
Please make sure the english language is selected (not French, I have not set it up yet)

You may see the example image enclosed.

Please help.
Kind regards
Richard
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

You have to create a hidden menu item for "Post (Frontpage)" menu item (screenshot : http://take.ms/IxL7E ) for Easyblog, so the system can able to route the correct link for your blog listing page and your categories listing page.

Regarding with your second issue, actually that is correct behaviour as it will always display the datetime and comment count on the left if you using Timeless theme in easyblog, because this is designed for Timeless theme.

If you want to hide this, I would suggest you that switch your Easyblog theme to Wireframe.

Hi Alex,
thanks for your answers.

I have successfully changed the template for my second issue.

For the first one, when I create a hidden menu, a new problem appears.
For SEO reasons, I want to keep a structured hierarchy :
if easyblog is attached to a joomla submenu called 'know-how' and I create a article with the path "permalink_path" belonging to a category_level1 (joomla sub menu of the 'know-how') the path should be: "root/know-how/category_level1_path/permalink_path"
This works like this correctly when no hidden menu as you suggested. UPDATED. Actually it doesn't work, the path is
root/know-how/opex-assessment-tools/activity-assessment/permalink_path. I don't even know why the path "opex-assessment-tools/activity-assessment" has been added to the path, since the articles don't belong to this category, all articles not directly linked to a joomla sub menu end up in this category/subcategory. In fact the now belong to two paths, the one with the weird "opex-assessment-tools/activity-assessment" path, and also the "normal/expected" path (root/know-how/category_level1_path/permalink_path). In the related post sectio nthe "wrong path" is displayed, ald also I believe that creates a duplicate content for SEO).

But with the hidden menu (called 'posts') , all the posts that are not directly linked to a joomla submenu now have the path
"root/posts/permalink_path" which totally breaks my tree structure.
Is there a solution?

The reason why it doesn't follow your current single category menu item structure is because those blog post primary category is not set to 'Activity assessment' or 'blog' so it will fall back to use this blog hidden menu alias.

Currently I am not sure whether menu structure can working with your current requirement or not :

1. You have to create each of the single category menu item for your existing categories. (under this menu http://take.ms/vhVYm)
For example created these 2 categories single category menu item.
- Diagnostic tools and templates
- Diagnostic methods and tools

2. Let said this blog post https://www.wevalgo.com/know-how/opex-assessment-tools/activity-assessment/dilo-templates posted under this following categories :
- Diagnostic tools and templates (primary category)
- Diagnostic methods and tools
- Activity assessment

3. So this blog post URL format will become https://www.wevalgo.com/know-how/opex-assessment-tools/diagnostic-tools-and-templates/dilo-templates , because that blog URL will follow what is this blog post primary category, so system will double check and see whether got this single category menu for this category or not, if there got created this menu for this category, it will use this single category menu alias.
