Hi Folks,

I already recreated/redefined the module but I can't seem to get rid of this issue/difference when displaying it.

I have on all pages the ES Module shown that shows the last 16 photo albums.
When I am on the EB Blog page, it shows the albums in a bullet style list, while when Im in ES where I also show the module it shows it as a grid. Its the same module which is displayed but the result is shown differently. (see screen shots)
Earlier it was shown correctly on all pages as a grid. Anyone any clue how to get this again to a grid on all pages? Or why it is shown differently (not as a grid)?

Thanks for help and suggestions,

Luc

PS: I already cleared caches, changed templates etc but nothing helped. :-S
Hey Luc,

Hm, it does seem like for some reasons the styling isn't rendered on the page. Are both these screen shots the same exact module? Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Mark,

At least to my knowledge they are indeed the same module. I checked again and could not find any others. To be certain I removed some more modules (unpublished ones) and emptied the trash, but no luck.
Ive provided the backend logins and the ftp access.
Thanks a lot to look into this. Much appreciated.

Regards,
Luc

Mark,
Thanks again for reviewing this. Maybe I made a typo when providing the password. I entered it again, it worked when tested on the logon.
Cheers,
Luc

Hey Mark,

Thanks for looking into this. Yes now they all look the same again and I have a block of 16 as before.
Just noticed that on the iPad I only get the first album to see, the other 15 are somehow missing.
Any clue? But on the mac it all looks fine again. Thanks for the support, appreciated!

PS: Btw.. is the album layout in ES 1.4 changing? Maybe more pictures/albums on less space?

Regards,
Luc

Hey Luc,

It seems like some of the images are missing from the site. This is why you are only seeing 1 item on the latest albums module. Am I missing anything here?

Hi Mark,
But on a normal mac with safari I see all images and all the albums stil exist. Just on the iPad with the same account I only see the first image.

PS: You should see with your ID also all 16 images.

Luc

I think your browser is caching them because on my end, I only see 1 album picture in the module. The rest of it is missing too.

Mark,
Strange. Has the module then recently changed? Ive been seeing all the albums, including those from the ES group I belong too.
Would this not be the case anymore?

Update: Just cleared my cache and indeed I only see 1 now as well.
Has then anything changed to the module function? Previously I could see all albums including those of the ES groups I belonged too.
Even if I now click on the one album it doesn't show. It shows ES but now the album within the ES group it belongs to.

Luc

Mark,

Its even worse now... I just noticed that all 50+ albums within the ES group are all looking empty???
They still show the count but not the pictures. Where did they go??

Luc

Hi Luc,

I notice that all of missing images is located on the folder "85" and below from your /media/com_easysocial/photos folder. I just checked your site and also the image path inside /media/com_easysocial/photos folder and it seems like there are only three folder there as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/mqJno2mSC4 . Folder 85 and below is not exist inside there for some reason thus causing the image is not accessible anymore.

Not really sure why the folder is missing from your site though . May I know did you performed any site modification process (site backup or migration) on your site recently?

Hi Ezrul,
No I did not do anything besides updates of ES and EB.
I should have taken backups, but didn't. SO are you saying that all those images are apparently gone?

Update: And the link when clicking on the album in the module is also not going to the album but the main ES page.
So has during any of the recent updates the media been moved to a different folder or has been manipulated? And has the linking changed?

Hey Luc,

Did you delete or remove any users from the site? If you delete a user, their photos would also be deleted as well. If you have a backup, I strongly advise you to restore the images folder from /media/com_easysocial/photos/

I would suggest that you restore some of these missing folders on your site as I am not really sure how to assist you with these missing folders.
