Hi,
I'm having a problem with truncation in the latest blogs module.
At first the entire text was showing. I found a modified file in this thread
http://stackideas.com/forums/urgent-latest-blogs-module-shows-entire-intro-text-ignore-character-settings
I used that instead. Truncation is working fine now, as long as I set the number of posts to 1.
When I set the number of posts to 2, the module seems to "eat" the module that is next in the same position, and even the rest of the page.
This is all just on a local site, so I'm including screenshots of the situation with 1 post and with two posts.
Any idea about the cause of this?
Best regards,
Ineke
Hey Ineke,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

it seems like that was some styling issue, if that was possible, perhaps you can temporary upload your local site to live site so we can better have a look of your current styling issues?

Hi Arlex,
No problem, weekend here too!
It's a site that is live but I was going to the process of updating Eayblog on a local copy, in case of problems ;-)
I put the test site online now, I attached the site details.
If you set the number of posts in the module to 1, you see what the hompage should look like.
Ik want to show 2 posts in the homepage module.
I hope you can help.
Best regards and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

I'm sorry, I made a mistak in the user name.
I attached the correct username.
Thanks!

Hey Ineke,

Looks like there is a bug in the module where the automated truncation kicks in, the content did not go through truncation. I have fixed this for you and it works fine now.

By the way, the site that you built looks really nice and I wonder if we could showcase this site on our showcase section?

Hi Mark,
Thank you very much for fixing this.
And also thank you for the compliment!
I'll ask my client if they're alright with that. I'll get back to you about that.
Thanks!
Ineke
