Hello!

We are preparing to add a Latest Blog feature to our website using your Latest Blogs module. I'm noticing that your module seems to strip out the internal <H> tags in our articles, causing the subhead t run into the content. I'm attaching a few screenshots to illustrate my point.

The feature we are building is being developed and tested behind a hidden menu, but no credentials are required to view it. Here is the link:

Is there a configuration setting that might mitigate this issue?

Thanks, SL
Hey there,

Can you include your site's access and FTP's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so that I can have better check on it? Because I can't replicate it on my local site.

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

If the module you set to truncate post content to 128 characters (http://take.ms/OA0do), then the system will truncate all the HTML tag from the post intro text.

In order to achieve your current requirement, you have to put readmore tag into your blog content, and set this module truncate setting to 0, so it will respect the readmore tag from the post content and remain HTML tag when you display this post intro text on the module.

By the way, you provided that user account do not have Superadmin privileges so I was unable to view your backend Easyblog configuration page setting. http://take.ms/SGYqp

I'm a bit confused by your comment that you could not access the backend, yet you shared a screenshot of the module configuration only accessible from the back end. It is clearly a screenshot of our exact module instance.

At any rate, thank you for the heads-up about the truncation text field hiding the enable/disable HTML UI.

You might consider graying that out instead of hiding it, so the user would understand that the feature exists and is simply not applicable once you type a number in the field. Otherwise, I can't imagine that I am the first or last person who will be confused.:-)

Nevermind... My mistake.

I see that I set you up as an administrator and not as a Super User... Thanks for the support!
