EasyBlog 5.0.16
Joomla! 3.4.3

Hello,
When the Latest Blogs module is inserted on home page, all links open in home page view. I have tried all options to change "Routing behavior" in the module settings, but none of the options has any effect.

Thank you!
Hey Peter,

It seems like there is no menu item created for EasyBlog on the site yet. Can you please create a menu item for EasyBlog on the site? As soon as the menu is created, I believe the linkage should be working fine

Yes, there are already 2 menu items for EasyBlog. One is the EasyBlog Frontpage type and the other is Easyblog Category type. Please login and you will see them in the main menu.

We cannot use the Latest Blogs module on the home page until this issue is fixed.

Thank you....

HI Peter,

I am sorry for the late reply,

I have change some settings in your EasyBlog. EasyBlog > Settings > SEO > Advanced. Can you please check and verify this issue is fixed.

EasyBlog 5 no longer support 'use current active menu item id' and 'use specific menu item id'. Please re-select the routing behavior to use 'Default'. Once you've selected 'Default', the next time you come back to this page, you will no longer see this setting. Screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/WqpnEvfg3Kd .

Hope this helps and please advise.

I have tested. If I understand correctly, we are to ignore the "Routing Behavior" selection in the module (or leave at Default) and only set "Use routing from Category Menu" in EasyBlog > Settings > SEO > Advanced? (This seems to fix problem even if no category menu item has been created, so that seems confusing.)

Do we need to change the settings in EasyBlog > Settings > SEO > Advanced for every new EasyBlog installation or just for upgrades?

Thank you,

Peter

Hey Peter,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. The module's settings for "Routing behavior" no longer takes any effect. We'll be removing these options shortly. You only need to change this once so that the modules will know how to generate the links for EasyBlog
