Easybog is set to display the two latest posts on my home page. But it has stopped working. I believe the reason is that the Latest Blogs module is not installed. How do I re-instal it?
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Do you mean it suppose to show this latest blog post "Could hackers launch a global nuclear war?" on the module right?

If yes, can you update your site FTP access at your first post so we can better have a check?

Hi Arlex, everything is working ok. I had tried to update Easyblog to latest version and it failed. When I published new blog on nuclear war it didnt change the display on the home page so i thought the failed update had produced the error. Then about 1 hour later the home page changed to correct to the display. But in the meantime i went to modules and noticed that the latest Blog post module was not there coz I had deleted it earlier at support's advice when I changed the home page display. But now even though that module is not on site, it still seems to be working. So do I need to instal it again (if so, how?) or shd it work ok in the future?

BTW is it the case that I cant do support ticjets now? Thats a bummer, the support on Stackideas has always beeni great! I love Easyblog and the thought that I always have help, as a blogger thats really important to me as I blog every week and have over 20,000 connections on LinkedIn, many of whom read my posts. I would never want to disappoint my readers!

Thx for your help Arlex!

Hey Ted,

That is really strange, may i know how do you delete that module? Because the latest blog post module still exist on your site, this is why it still appear on your site homepage, you can check my attached screenshot below.

Perhaps you can monitor it for now, if the issue still persists, you can keep us updated then.

May i know what do you mean you can't do support ticket? Is it you mean you can't start a new post on our forum?

I think i deleted the latest blog post by right clicking the module and click on delete. Maybe that doesnt delete it? Seems like the module is still there even though I cant see it. Is there some way to make it visible again?

Regarding tickets I think I misunderstood a support person. I told him that when we tried to update the Easblog it failed. He told us to go to stack forums for answer and download the launcher. I thought he was saying that tickets have been terminated, so glad I am wrong!

Oh, we will provide support as long as your license is valid

Sorry Ted, I still feel a little bit lost here, can you check my screenshot here https://take.ms/3xhMq , is it the module you referring to? If yes, you can find this module from backend > extension > module > click the select type and type latest > choose the Easyblog - latest blog post module (screenshot : https://www.screencast.com/t/4cY5OEFzO7 )

If you are not referring this module, can you provide us some screenshot which module you would like to edit?

Arlex, this is the one and I was able to find it fine. One last question: when I go into the module it puts "total posts to display" is 1. I am displaying 2 posts on home page which is exactly what i want, but why is it showing only 1?
thx Arlex!

Based on what i checked it today, it look like it did show 2 blog post into that latest blog post module.
But I realised If i disable that module, this module still appear on the site.

So I suspect your server did enable some cache so when you switch the setting immediately or disable the module, it will not affect on the site, you can check my attached screenshot below.

Perhaps you can temporary disable this cache on your server and see whether everything is working correctly when you set to display only 1 post or 2 post.
