Hi,

I had this very same problem a few weeks ago and believe the fix was introduced in v26. Please see:

http://stackideas.com/forums/latest-blogs-no-longer-shows-intro-text-now-shows-download-this-link

My latest blogs modules no longer display the intro text and instead show the download link text.

How did you correct it last time?

Kind regards

Mel
Where are you seeing this Mel? I tried to access http://www.******.co.uk/ but I don't see any download links.

Hi Mark,

if you look on the Home page at top right where I have the latest blog articles module, you will see it says under the green text Download: right-click & save (I have changed language here - it would normally say Download This Track but it was confusing visitors as instead of downloading it was opening it and playing). It should instead display the text (like in the other latest news on that page). Does that make sense?

This happened last time I upgraded and it got fixed - I think Ezrul?

Mel - p.s. can you check the optional info in site details, I have left a message there.

Hey Mel,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

Can you try download this file and replace into JoomlaFolder\administrator\components\com_easyblog\includes\post\post.php and see how it goes?

Hi Arlex,

perfect!

Will I need to add this every time I upgrade? Is it unique to me?

Kind regards

Mel

You're welcome.

I already applied this fix in next release, so you no need to keep this file as well.
