Since we performed the update to 5.0.34 the Latest Blogs module is only displaying one column but when I open it is set for 3 as we desire.

Most Popular is appearing on pages it is not set to appear on. It is set up to display exactly as Latest Blogs and Featured Blogs so It should only be appearing on the Home page.

Read More page break is NOT working here either. I know you placed a test post and said it works there. Could this be a browser issue? We are running latest Firefox on Win 7, Win 10, and CentOS 6 here in our offices. What browser are you using? We'll soon have a Mac in our stable so I can see what things look like there also.

How long until we can upgrade our servers to PHP 7? Are your components compatible? This is very important to us as we have discussed dropping Kunena in favor of EasyDiscuss. We also are very impressed with our testing of PHP 7 on one of our development servers. Page load times are markedly faster and RAM use is more efficient.

You should throw me a 30 day trial or a nice discount on the purchase price for EasyDiscuss. That way we can actually test drive it for a few days.
May i know which is that ticket number so we can track back this ticket as soon as possible?

Hey there,

It looks like you configured the module to appear "Vertically". I have changed it to "Horizontally" and it's displaying correctly now

I just checked the "Most popular post" module and it seems like you have configured it to appear on all pages except selected. I have re-configured the module for you and it now only appears on the "Home" menu item.

I am not too sure which moderator assisted you with the read more tag but some of us are using Windows while some others on Mac. What is not working with the read more tag for you?

All our extensions are PHP 7 ready and you shouldn't have any issues with it. Though, we can't use PHP 7 specific codes in our extensions yet due to backward compatibilities.

As for the discount for EasyDiscuss, please write to us at https://crm.stackideas.com and I am sure we can work something out for you

Hi Mark:

I certainly missed the fact that it had changed from horizontal to vertical. Must have happened when it updated to new version.

On the Read More tag issue we are as I am sure you saw we are using JCE. We place the read more page break and all we get is a double row space and no Read More.

Thanks for letting me know we are good on PHP 7.

I wanted to embed a world population counter into a post. I tried a plugin called Sourcerer but my script displayed in the page. Is this something to do with the way EasyBlog handles javascripts?

We'll definitely be in contact with first couple days next week about changing over to EasyDiscuss.

Our site is shaping up exactly the way we want it. Thanks so much for your help.
Hope you don't mind all the questions.

Hi Net4ia,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply.

Regarding your issue with the readmore tag, may i know which posts you've added the readmore tag but its not working? I randomly pick few blog posts from your site during my test but I do not see any readmore tag being added to these blog post. I then pick 'Germany – Britain Won Two Wars but has Lost the Peace' post and edit this blog post by adding the readmore tag and when in your EasyBlog frontpage, the readmore tag is being respected correctly. Please see http://screencast.com/t/MmP2tUATUM

As for the above, when you insert the javascript into the blog post, did you 'toggle' the editor to plain text mode? If i recall correctly, you will need to toggle your editor to plain text mode so that your JCE editor will not escape the html tag. If you still having issue regarding this, can you pass us the javascript code that you use so that we can try again at your site?

Please advise.

I just had a meeting with my business partner on this. I am thinking of switching from JCE to the regular composer editor. JCE creates too many issues for multiple authors in regards to media uploads. I want a simple clean template though so I may be asking a few more questions.

Soon as we get the invoice we'll be switching from Kunena to Easydiscuss... Also planning to add Easysocial in a couple months.

We will be moving the entire site to the production server in about 2 weeks.

Hi Net4ia,

I'm sorry to hear about your troubles with the JCE editor. I hope that our composer and products will be able to meet your requirements

Although we would be happy to answer your questions, it would be best if they were to have their own tickets in the future so that it would be easier for us to answer them. As such, may I know if this ticket's main issue has been resolved?

Hope to hear from you soon!
