Hello,
I have just installed the latest version of latest blog module (3.5.4) and I am trying to get it working...
I can't find any setting to adjust my blog main images showed in the module... they are too big... digging with firebug I see that
the images are thumbnails generated when I uploaded the main image of the blog, and that their size is fixed to be 250x200 px

Maybe I am missing something... could you help me to solve this?

Regards,
Nic

Hello Aidan,

You can actually control the Blog images size and also the way they crop the images by changing the setting in your backend -> EasyBlog -> Themes -> theme name -> Blog Images. Here check out the module entry and change the settings Then click on Clean Images on the top and check out your module If you need help with this do allow us access to your backend and FTP Hope this helps.

Thanks!

I too was having trouble figuring out how to set the image size for the latest blogs module. Eventually (after much time and frustration) I found Adelene's advice, quoted above, which worked. But if you have to go to the Theme settings to change this, what on Earth does the Photo Posts Width and Height settings in the module configuration control?

Hello Adam,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Yes, that was because all the image is under the Easyblog theme, so the setting should be configure from the theme > Blog images like the featured, frontpage, module entry, slider inside the image size width and height. Hope this help.

Hello Adam,

The settings in Themes>Blog Images is used when the user upload an image. Easyblog will get the value from this settings to generate different size of image. Then the settings in the module is to set the maximum size of the image appeared. For example in the Themes setting, you have set to 400x400 but in module, you set to 250x250. The module will use the 250x250. Hope this helps.

OK, thanks for the explanation

But I think you need a more intuitive way of doing this. At the very least, I would suggest having note in the Photo Posts section of the Module advising that to increase the image size you need to configure the Theme settings.
