Hi,
I have activated the last/next navigation links, so that users can navigate from post to post. Setting is for "sitewide" navigation.

However, the sequence is not correct. Sometimes its OK, sometimes it a wrong post. Shouldn´t that be sorted according to when the post was published?

The sequence in "latest posts" is differet.
Hi Alex,

In the post navigation it actually ONLY follow the post creation sequence, where as in the 'list of latest' post in your screenshot number 2 actually will follow the latest post according to activities reply&post as well as you can see: http://take.ms/8Re5z

Hi Muhammad,
thanks, but I don´t really understand, and it is confusing for the users.

Latest means, the sequence follows, the post creation date. So on top, I should see the latest post, followed by the second latest, and so on.

The navigation (if set to "sitewide") should follow the same rule. The advantage of the post navigation is that after reading a post, I don´t have to go back to the Latest Post-View, I simply click on one of the links (back / forward).

That´s how it should be implemented. How can I achieve that?

Because I got mails that the post navigation is not working because of that reason...

Hi Alex,

Yes, you are correct here, it seems there is a bug regarding this. By right it should be follow the Latest Post-View as it will confuse user to navigate the previous/next post
I've logged this issue in our issue tracker.
However, I've make quick fix in the file:
.../administrator/components/com_easydiscuss/models/posts.php
in the getPostNavigation function.
can you please have a look?
