Good Morning

We have a multilingual site in bothe english and Spanish and use the native JOOMLA translation tools. i.e we have a menu item for english and then also menu item for spanish.

I need to understand the best way to set up EASYBLOG for this?

CASE 1
For example I installed orginally and had the languages set to all but that didnt have a menu item set for SPANISH so when users switched language they would get redirected to the home page. I planned to use menu item alias to point to the original page but this didnt work.

CASE 2
I created a menu item for each (spanish menu item for blog and english menu item for blog) when I switch language to spanish the same happens. Even though there is an associated item. I think this has something to do with the fact that the ALIAS is the same

Please can you tell me or point me to the optimal settings for easy blog multilingual

Regards
Hey Leon,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Please find my response to your inquiries below:

Hm, I am not entirely sure if I understand you here but if I recall correctly, you need to also set a home menu item for the Spanish menu, otherwise Joomla doesn't know which menu to point to for the home page of the site in Spanish.

Are you viewing a blog post when you clicked on the language switcher? If you clicked on the language switcher while viewing a blog post, in the blog post itself, you need to associate it with the blog post with the respective language.
