This are the language strings that are rendered by Komento. Have you tried purging the site's cache just in case the module is cached?

hey guys,
this has nothing to do with the language files at all
looking at your pic before the name of the easyblog component (com_easyblog) you have this: "Laden von Artikel Details nicht möglich" - which means for mark and the rest of the support team: "Unable to load article details"

now when this error message shows up it's coming from /components/com_komento/komento_plugins/error.php
and digging through this file shows that only the first part "Laden von...:" is using some language placeholder but not the component name....

hope that helps

Hi Alex,

could it be the reason that the blog article was deleted by the user?

hey horst,
yeah - absolutely. usually if everything's working correctly you should see the title of the blog and the correct component name in that bar.
but when the blog is deleted then the module is not able to find it so it can't show the right details.

try to comment on a real (existing) blog and check if everything's showing up correctly there then - usually should work fine

Hi Alex,

I think there are two possibilities - 1st the string should show the application name of Easyblog or the comment has to be deleted (at least unvisible in the module) too. Am I wrong? What's your opinion?

Thanks for your reaaly great support!

Hi,

The purpose of showing the "unable to load comment" is an indicator for admin to delete the comments.

Because Komento operates by listening to plugin triggers, there are no common "article delete" trigger for Komento to listen to, hence when an article is deleted, there is no definitive way to determine.

hey guys,
@mark: you're welcome
@jason I think it makes perfect sense that komento not automatically deletes something as this should be really up to the admin
@horst well, showing "easyblog" instead of "com_easyblog" might look a little bit better perhaps but error messages itself are never good at all so probably wouldn't be a big difference. also deleting comments automatically when a blog is not available is not a perfect idea I think. let's for example say a blog post is just unpublished (perhaps you have to edit it) but not deleted. in this case the post is still not reachable so komento would have to delete the comments but that's probably not what you want.

how about this as a workaround:
when the module is listing out the comments there could be a check at the beginning IF the post is PUBLISHED (only this). if so: show the comment ELSE hide it.
when doing so no comments are deleted, no error message would show up and only the real valuable comments would be visible to the user.

Hi,

I think you all are right! Deleting wouldn't be a good idea at all.....I didn't recognize that it is a comment for a deleted blog - this was only obvouis for me becuase of the remark of Alex.....

For this blog I am going to hide the comments......in the future I will check first if the blog is still available

Thanks for your great support!
