Not a big deal, but figured I'd mention it. When installing the content plugin for ES (latest version), below the successfully installed message it says "PLG_CONTENT_EASYSOCIAL_XML_DESCRIPTION". It only shows this upon install, the description in the plugin options works just fine.
Hello Josh Lewis,

Can you try download this zip file and see how it goes?

Hello Josh,

Hm, did you manually install this? I have checked the translations file and it does contain the string PLG_CONTENT_EASYSOCIAL_XML_DESCRIPTION .

Nope, I uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled it via Joomla's article manager. Here's what it looks like:

I suppose there might be an error on Joomla's end, however I've seen other extensions pull off descriptions from plugins when installing. I've seen other plugins show the same message. The good news is that it should be fixable.

Thanks for the efforts, but I tried this twice (uninstalling and reinstalling of course to make sure nothing gets skewed) and it still shows the xml message. If you need to use my test site as testing grounds your free to do so.

Getting this issue resolved is more about making other customers feel better about the installation of the plugin, I am well aware of what the xml message means.

Thanks for testing, I figured out how to replicate the issue which is how I've been doing it. When you install the plugin when it's already installed the description works just fine. But when you don't have the plugin already installed, then it shows the xml message. This is why it's been working just fine on your end. So we need the description to work fine on both install and upgrade.

Awesome, that latest package fixed the issue. The fix should be applied to the content plugin on the app page.
