Hi there,

I am using 1.2.14 and saw that there are some language strings issues at the backend.

EasySocial / Profile Types / Name of the account (Free Account in my case) / Custom Fields

You will find there that nearly all of the fields have some language problem (I added one sample but it is really everywhere)
Hello David,

Please re-download the launcher from http://stackideas.com/dashboard and install the launcher again. I think you are using a much older version of the launcher (Which does not include the language fixes).

Dear Mark,

I just did what you said and reinstalled the launcher and the problem is still there.

Hello David,

I tried to login to your site and they are actually translated as you can see here, http://screencast.com/t/o0YlWbrFcRPC

A you can see from the file attached, the problem is everywhere and not where you looked for. You need to click into each custom field and press the 'Edit' button. You will then see what I am talking about.

I'm eager for ES 1.2.15 considering that supposedly the app stings are fixed in that version as seen here.

As for your last screen shot, I'm guessing it's supposed to be that way for the title field? I'll let Mark answer that one.

Those are actually not translation errors David. It's valid translation string and it's used by sites that requires "multi lingual" support. I am planning to add a "translated" output just beside those inputboxes so "native English" sites could have an idea what it's all about.

Hello Troy,

Wait for 1.2.15 These teething issues will be solved in 1.2.15. We are also optimizing quite a number of stuffs on 1.2.15. In fact, the reason that you are hitting these language string issues is because we have merged the language files for all custom fields and apps into a single file and your update most likely did not pull the latest language file.

If you can't wait and need to fix this quickly, download the latest 1.2.15 launcher and install it via Extensions manager and go through the standard installation process

Mark, ES 1.2.15 is not out yet. With ES 1.2.14 I downloaded it via the launcher and it still broke those strings when I updated last week. Glad to hear about more optimizations in ES 1.2.15.

Sorry, what I meant is that when 1.2.15 is out, it will resolve this. We're still optimizing our codes to ensure that your EasySocial would be able to load super fast
