Hi Team,

I found when I try to switch "filter" in the stream page (viewing via zh-TW), string will switch back to en-GB. This ONLY happens with Google Chrome (desktop / Mac); and clearing cookies will fix the problem ... for a while, normally few days, and it happens again.

Not sure if any of you spot this issue with Goggle Chrome between EasySocial?

p.s. two picture is captured under zh-TW, but after the ajax call, it turned into en-GB only inside the stream updates.
When you perform ajax operations, it depends on your current language on the site, it will send the "language" identifier to the server so Joomla knows what language to load. I am not really sure why clearing the cookie fixes things for you but did you enable the Language filter plugin?

Hi Mark,

Do you think not setting the Cookie Domain (leave it blank) caused the issue?

Normally I've set the default language as zh-TW with Chrome, but after a week or two using the browser, it detects my preferred language as en-GB. I can only clear cookie to fix this as this caused the ajax call from EasySocial faulty. Issue only happen to Chrome.

Just see if you have any experience on this. Thanks.

Hello Alfred,

It could be possible but I have never really tried leaving them blank before though. I think you shouldn't leave them blank otherwise then the site wouldn't be able to access the cookies since cookies are restricted based on the domain?
