For an example I have a checkbox group field in my profile outlining "causes" that the person is interested in (it's a website to connect volunteers with volunteer opportunities). The site is in 3 languages (English, Romanian and Russian) so we are using language overrides / variables to represent pretty much all the values in our profile in order to make them work across languages. This works great across the profiles but is a problem in the advanced search as the select-box shows the language string rather than whichever value should be represented based on the selected language.

Hey Mark - many thanks for fixing this problem! not sure why the FTP wasn't working but it's probably my dev server. It's not in my physical possession and really needs to be overhauled
