Sorry guys, but creating an override to this issue doesn't seem to be working. The email still contains the standard text.
I have created an override using the joomla language override component and

https://stackideas.com/forums/change-default-text-for-new-user-details-email

Just noticed that the email contains the following text

Hello %s,

You have been added as a User to %s by an Administrator.
This email contains your username and password to log in to %s

Username: %s
Password: %s

Please do not respond to this message as it is automatically generated and is for information purposes only.

Whereas the text in the administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easysocial.ini contains.

Hello %s,

You have been added as a user to %s by a site administrator.
This email contains your username and password which you can use to login to the site.

Username: %s
Password: %s

Please do not respond to this message as it is automatically generated and is for information purposes only.

So I guess it is not from there the text is coming. Can anyone lead me in the right direction.
Thank you.
Sorry again,
Seem to have located the text now. it is in the file, administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.plg_user_joomla.ini

Thanks again for your help

Hi Dennis,

Yes that is correct. The translation for Joomla's email comes from their language files.

Glad to know you managed to solve the issue.

Regards.
