I realized the following issue regarding an email notification about a new like for a comment. The language string seems to be in German:

COM_EASYSOCIAL_EMAILS_CONTENT_NEW_COMMENT_LIKE_BODY="%1$s gefällt Dein Kommentar"

...but the email is not translating %1$s - have a look at my screenshot (header of the email content)
Hey Horst,
Yes it seems other languages are still using the old translation where the variable is used. Since the translators have not translate this language string, I would suggest that you create a language override in the meantime(http://take.ms/LgQ4g).

Hi Horst,
I have tested this by liking a comment and receiving the email notification. It seems the translation is working fine(http://take.ms/F6jur2, http://take.ms/Pu84T). Am I missing something here? Can you also try to generate that email again and see if the issue persist? If the issue persist, can you provide me the exact steps on how you are able to replicate it? Thanks.

Hi Raymond,

thanks for your feedback. I just checked it again and it's still there....you have to use the "like it" button on an existing comment within Easyblog. When receiving the notification email (author of the eaysblog article) that the comment was liked you can see the issue in the email.

If there is the necessity to make this to a private thread and exchange some more details, feel free....

Thanks for your support!

Hey Horst,
I see. Since you are referring to EasyBlog's comments, this is the language constant that is responsible for the translation:

COM_EASYBLOG_NOTIFICATION_NEW_LIKE="New like on your comment"
http://take.ms/XEmF3
By the way, the variable will not work in the translation because it is not defined in the core file and email template. Therefore, I would suggest that you use a translation that has no variable.

Hi Raymond,

does this mean that the variable I mentioned in my first posting is an old one? Or is there another language constant which is resonsible for the email header/subject. I did not change any original constant, I did only translate it to German.

Many thanks for your patience and support!

Horst
