Which plugin are you trying to install? Were you trying to install the app instead? If you are installing the app, it needs to be installed via EasySocial > Applications .

P/S: Do not get confused over app vs plugins. Plugins are Joomla plugins while EasySocial apps are apps for EasySocial. This is one of the reasons why we do not call the apps a plugin in EasySocial.

You should install it from backend office > Easysocial > application > install area

You can refer on my attached screenshot below.

These 2 apps actually is custom fields :
- discuss_signature_2.0.1.zip
- easyblog_biography_2.0.0.zip

You have to click on backend > Easysocial > application > custom field > enabled those custom field (screenshot : http://take.ms/qDFFn )

Then those custom field will appear on your user profile form, you have to check it from backend > Easysocial > profile type > custom field

That Application page only appear on Easysocial component page from backend.
