Sorry for late reply to this,
I have checked in my local for English language, it seems like everything is work fine. Check my screenshot below.
Can you try go to your backend > Easysocial > language > purge cache > click "discover" > then select your language and click update and see how it goes?
if the language string still not get translated with your current site language, can your provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this ? Please advise.

Hm, this is odd because it's showing up fine for me locally. Are you using the latest version of the Discuss app and EasyDiscuss?

i don't use easydiscuss.

is this only for easydiscuss or also for discussions in easysocial groups for example
