Hello - i need to install the chinese language on the blog - but i can understand on other forums threads that i need to update the blog in order to do this because i am using an older version of easyblog.

However this is not an option, so is it possible to install the language manually using an installation pack?
Hi Mike,

If you have any site using EasyBlog 5.1, you can download the language file on those sites, then copy the language folder(frontend and backend) from that site and paste it onto the older version site.

file locations for language eg. zh-CN
frontend: JoomlaFolder/language/zh-CN
backend: JoomlaFolder/administrator/language/zh-CN

Let us know if this works for you.

Hey Mike,

I would suggest you that upgrade your site Easyblog version to latest version 5.2, so you do not need to enter any API key from your site .

Can you try follow my instruction and see how it goes?

1. Download latest launcher installer from https://stackideas.com/dashboard http://take.ms/WVB0f
2. Upload this installer from your site backend > extension > manage > install
3. Once you uploaded completed, then click proceed that installation.

If the issue still persists, can you update your site backend and FTP access at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?
