Language installation and strings

Hi,

I cannot install languages in ES.
It keeps mentioneing: "retrieving list of languages".

Following the post http://stackideas.com/forums/can-t-install-languages :
I ve contacted my hosting provider and requested them to lift the restrictions.

They answered:

"Dear Sir,

On our shared hosting platform, certain outgoing ports are indeed closed. Could you indicate over which port your website is trying to make a connection?"

Please help.

Additional question: how to translate profile type strings?

Hello Raph,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Can you try this again? We had some issues with our languages web server earlier but it's fixed now.

As for the translations for profile type strings, you could just give a custom translation for your profile title and add these translations on the language file
