Greetings.
First of all congrats on creating such a range of wonderful products. the functionality and quality of your extensions truly speak for themselves.
As I utilize your extensions on different sites I rarely come across any major issues that cant be solved with minimal tweaking and most of the time its the templates fault. having said that I am now faced with a couple of language issues.

  1. Article language selection in EasyArticles

I cant seem to find the option to set article language in the EasyArticles Editor nor in settings at the back end.

  1. Language files

Working on multiple sites that do not match the Dashboard support domain, and not being particularly keen on sharing domains that belong to clients, I am unable to use the extensions built in Server Service, effectively making it a hindrance to work flow rather than a convenience. Specially with manual language files not being easily accessible.
Extension language files are not part of the functionality, therefor they can not be treated as a tradable commodity and should be easily and freely available for customers who use and pay for the extentions. let alone the fact that the internet is a global infrastructure and the people on it use many different languages. catering to as many of them as possible can drive up sales of Joomla extensions dramatically.
Can you please point me to where I can download Language files of your Extensions in order to install them manually? if not can you please send them to me here.

Thank you and please excuse my rather long constructive criticism.
Greetings.

You are right. Currently language selection is not available in EasyArticles composer. I will log this in our tracker so we can add it.

You can download the language files by heading to the language section of the extension(EasyDiscuss example: https://i.imgur.com/Ng3qj6d.png). Then head to the language folder to retrieve the files.

The language folders are at:
backend: JoomlaFolder/administrator/language/xx-XX/
frontend: JoomlaFolder/language/xx-XX/

Once you got the files, you can paste them in the same location of the other site.

Thank you for your quick reply.
Are you able to give any kind of time frame on when will the language selection be added?

Can you please change my support domains for all extensions to ****g.com?

There is one more issue I have come across.
Media manager in EasyArticles Composer strips the names of uploaded images when names are written in Unicode characters. unlike the native Joomla media manager. which forces the client to use other editors in order to upload article images and keep the same name. as you probably know this is essential for improving SEO.

Hey there,

It should be added in the next EasyArticle release. We do not have a time frame on the next release.

I have helped you change the licensed domain for ED, EA and Komento. For EasyBlog and EasySocial, you can add the domain from your user dashboard.

Are you referring to the image title here? https://i.imgur.com/FJ8u0Cl.png

Can you provide me a sample name I can use to test this and a screenshot of the result where the name is stripped?

Thanks for the update.

I am referring to the original image/file name. please see attached image.
I now realize that the media manager will not upload images all together if the file name is in Unicode. unless a dash (-) is in the name as well. in which case the manager will strip all Unicode characters and only keep the dash (-) after upload.

Hey there,

I have masked the address.

Tested the issue which you described and there is indeed an issue when trying to upload files that consists of unicode characters.

I will log this in our tracker so the devs can look into it.
