Language Error

Hi,

Minor language error when creating menu. Warning appear when forgot to 'Select Event Category'.

Menu type: Easysocial - Event Category Layout

Where to fix it? Minor error, but kinda annoying...

Hello Syabab,

Okay, found the problem. Add the language strings below into /administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easysocial.ini . It was added to the wrong language file.

Hm, it looks like your language file is probably outdated? You can fix this by adding the language string below into /administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_easysocial.sys.ini



COM_EASYSOCIAL_EVENTS_LAYOUT_EVENT_CATEGORY_SELECT_EVENT_CATEGORY="Select Event Category"

COM_EASYSOCIAL_EVENTS_LAYOUT_EVENT_CATEGORY_SELECT_EVENT_CATEGORY_DESC="Select an event category that should be displayed."

COM_EASYSOCIAL_EVENTS_LAYOUT_EVENT_CATEGORY_SELECT_EVENT_CATEGORY_REQUIRED="Event category is required."

Try clearing your browser cache and joomla cache, it might help

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Are you using the English language or a different language? If you are using a different language, you need to check on the respective language file.

hi,

I did clear cache, browser and joomla.

It is English, en-GB.

I test it in localhost and on live site. It is the same, it still there.

Please keep in mind that there's no problem with function, it's just that language didn't translate.
