You should be able to find the plugin language file from your /administrator/language/en-GB/en-GB.plg_easyblog.ini

is that only for the administrators viewing? I accessed this and changed the constant PLG_EASYBLOG_TITLE but when i did and accessed the front end i came up with the same text.

If you look at the image I am trying to edit out the word blog everywhere on the front end. But i can't seem to access the appropriate languag constants.

Again I found the file you stated and i'm looking at those constants but the one i expected to work doesn't seem to change the front end and I am not sure I found any with "Japhy_Snyder updated blog post Acai Berry (Extract) in Ingredients"

By right it should be working fine. Perhaps there is some issue that we might have miss look here. Can you provide us with your joomla backend and FTP access so we can take a closer look?

Regarding with your Jomsocial stream language constant is under this file :
JoomlaFolder\language\en-GB\en-GB.com_easyblog.ini

COM_EASYBLOG_JS_ACTIVITY_BLOG_UPDATED="{actor} updated blog post <a href="_QQ_"%1s"_QQ_">%2s</a> in <a href="_QQ_"%3s"_QQ_">%4s</a>"

After you changed it, it will not affect with your existing stream, because those language already stored in database.
But it will affect when the next new stream coming. Hope this help.
