Hi Dear,
I would like to make a multi language site.
Options that I would like to have there are
- to be able to add my own translation
- everything must be changed in all those pages (menu and moduals)
- is there a plug in there.

thanks
Hello Homayra,

Sorry but don't quite understand you here. What do you mean by adding your own translations? You can add your EasyBlog translations by editing the language file. As for having the menu and modules changing according to languages, this can already achieved in Joomla. You just need to create 2 different menu's that is from a different language.

Hi Mark,
thanks you so much for replying this quick.
I have my site and want the visitors to be able to switch from one language to an other.
I do not want to use any automatic translator. I would like to be able to change the content my self. And I might be adding a lot more languages soon. So maybe the idea of having multiple menus for each languages might not work.

thanks

Hello Homayra,

This is actually how Joomla works and you need to create multiple menu's for different languages that you have on your site. Perhaps you want to try to read through the following items on how you can achieve this with Joomla,

Hello Homayra,

We try to not re-invent the wheel because there are already tons of language switchers but if you ask me, I personally prefer to do it the core Joomla style as it's safer Although I have never really built a multi lingual site before.
