Kunena vs EasyDiscuss

Hello,

We are looking for a complete forum solution. We're currently under research (has to run within Joomla).

So far we have come across Kunena and EasyDiscuss.

I have installed EasyDiscuss and it looks to me that is more like a support system rather than a typical forum like SMF, phpBB and others.

Any input will be welcomed!

Hello,

You could actually turn off the Q&A system in EasyDiscuss so you don't have all those bells and whistles of a "question and answer" site.

EasyDiscuss isn't entirely a conventional forum because we believe conventional forums are pretty much dated. However, with the forums view in EasyDiscuss, you still get the same forum-ish navigation
