Hi guys.
Could you shed light on some questions for me pls?
Im building a site and I need to find a right way.

Initially I was thinking about to use JComments, but the project seems to be dead. Then I started to think about Komento, but I found some comments that Komento makes hi load on the server because it has LOTS of queries and site can start work slowly with 2000+ users\day. Those comments about hi load was made in 2013.
So, here is the 1st question - has been any changes in Komento regarding lots of queries since 2013?

The second question is about a such feature like Kunena Discuss, but Komento Discuss
If u dont know about Kunena Discuss below is the explanation
"With Kunena Discuss you can selectively control which Joomla articles you want to allow your users to discuss on the forum, which forum category in which those discussions will occur, how long after the article was created to allow those discussions to happen as well as many other useful features."

I need such feature and cant find any info about implementation neither on this site nor in Internet. Are u going to make such thing for Komento-Kunena?
If no, tell me pls, is it difficult to make this plugin for 3rd party developer?
If I would pay my money for the developing of such plugin, could u then take it in order to keep updating (in case if code is readable ? I ask it firstly because I found lots of places where ppl ask about this feature and secondly I am not good code writer, so ask and pay to 3rd party developer for updates of this plugin everytime when anything changes in Komento or Kunena could be quite expensive.

I found a developer who can code such feature for JComments, but again, spend money to something what is dead seems quite strange, but on other side, u produce cool products with great support, so I would prefer to spend my money into something alive.

Sorry for so long post)
Waiting for your answers.

Best regards,
Anton.
Hello Anton,

I believe there is no issue about the high load for queries in Komento. You can give it a try using our free package and see how it goes with this queries thing.

As for the Komento Kunena, I don't get you here. But Komento has this feature where you can choose which article to enable Komento and you can set on which category you want it to display. Is this what you really want? Please advise.

About Komento-Kunena. I want to allow Komento to create new Kunena topics if someone posts 1st comment and put into new topics an article (or part of article) as a 1st message and post comments itself as 2nd message. Then if someone post message in Kunena's "article thread", this message appears also in Komento in appropriate article.

Hope now it is clear.
