Hi guys,

We've found an issue with the Komento Docman integration. We are using latest version of Komento, Joomla 3.2.5 and Jomsocial 3.1.x.

When a comment is posted in Komento within a document then the comment is posted to the Jomsocial activity stream. The activity stream item contains a link to the document but when the link is clicked to view the document, there is a 500 error and it says that the menu item cannot be found. Here is the URL it is using in the stream: http://mysite.com/component/docman/?view=document&alias=2-tips-1&category_slug=journeyx&Itemid=0

As you can see its using a non SEF url and makes no reference to the menu item we've used for docman.

Can you please let me know if there is a way to fix this?

Can you provide us your backend and FTP access so we can have a better look on your issue here? We will check abut the issue and will fix it immediately.

Hi Nik, as you can see in my post above, we cannot provide you with FTP or access to our site. Please let me know if you are able to replicate this issue on your systems? If so, please can you send me the updated file?

Hello Tony,

Thanks for the file. I've checked through the component and the link is actually generated by their (docman) own komento_plugin.php which you can have a look here ../components/com_docman/komento_plugin.php in line 81. You might want to consult their developer on this issue.
