We have downloaded the new version of the application Komento 2.1.2.
Despite a "successful installation", the version continues to display 2.1.1 (img 1) but this seems purely aesthetic.

When I comment on someone's comment, they receive a notification. Great.

However, when I like someone's comment, I receive a notification (why?) et the person does not receive a notification (img 2).

You will received them as well as you are one of the participant on that thread(blog). So everyone will received them including you.

It seems that i cannot replicate them on my local as i do received those notifications currently. Can i have you permission to create a dummy blog to test this out.

Currently, that how it should behave currently. Maybe you can choose which usergroup you desired to receive those notifications so that only those chosen usergroup will get those notifications.

Other users will be notified and they might want to get notified as well. By disabling this https://take.ms/fRuIJ, you wont be notified with those notifications.

It would be best if you can submit your feature request regarding this simply by creating a new ticket on the forums, and set it to "Feature Request" so everyone else on the site could vote for it as well. The team will usually prioritize features that are in popular demand during the development process of the next major release.
