Hello,

In your front-end demo of Komento, you have a login box integrated with the comments form and the "post as a guest" feature.

I tried to configure Komento to have this kind of functionality but couldn't find out how to do it.

I also searched the documentation, could you please explain how to configure this? It's not clear to all users that they must login to post comments.

Thanks in advance!
Hi,

Thanks a lot for your support, the comments are now working fine!

All the best!

Hi,

Go to backend -> Komento -> Integrations -> Select Component -> Workflow and set the Enable Login Form to Yes.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for your quick reply.

I don't have the option "Enable Login Form"

Have a look at the attachment.

Hi,

It should be below the "System" section.

If it is not there, could you advise what version of Komento are you using?

Hi there,

This is what I can see in the dashboard:

You are using the latest version of Komento 1.5.3286

Thanks!

Hello Nuno,

The login form is added in the later version of yours. You might want to upgrade your Komento to use this feature.

Hi,

Thanks, I just upgraded to the latest version.

Now, it does have the login box, as expected, but it looks terrible (see attachment)....

Is this how it is supposed to look?

Hello again,

I found there was an issue with css and cache, now the looks improved!

I still have 2 issues:

1- How to translate those messages?

I'm using En-gb in the backend and Pt-pt in the frontend. I made an overrride to en-GB site for the tag COM_KOMENTO_LOGIN_TO_COMMENT but it didn't work out.

Could you please let me know how to handle the translations?

2- The buttons don't seem to work (Send comment, detect location, subscribe with e-mail, etc.). When I click these buttons nothing happens.

Hi,

This is due to pagespeed module running on your site that is causing the conflict. I've set Komento on your site to Optimized mode (under Komento -> Configuration -> System) to prevent such conflicts and Komento should be running properly now.

As for the language override, you should try using Joomla's language override feature at backend -> Extensions -> Language Manager -> Overrides.
