I use Komento on all of my site content, including EasyBlog, EasyDiscuss and K2. I have recently added JReviews for a directory, and would love to have a consistent comment function across the whole site. For now I have turned off the JReviews comments, but at some point I would really like to turn it back on. JReviews uses the Joomla content structure, so hopefully this means it's easier? Not sure, but would LOVE to see Komento on all areas of my site.
Hi Mark, how are you doing...?

Have you integrated Komento to Jreviews yet...? If yes, how and to what extend...?

If not, when do you plan on doing it and to,what extend...?

Cause Jreviews commenting really suck...! :-)

I would like to see comment feature also for photos and videos in Jreviews, can you do that...?

Thanks...

Hello Benoit,

I am sorry but unfortunately we do not have such integrations yet at this point of time

That's a bit unfair isn't it? Jreviews has one of the best reviews and comment engines going. Are you sure you are using it correctly?

Yes it's a bit unfair...But I can reverse the question, have you ever use Komento? ...It's day and night compare to JReviews...

But more importantly it's the fact that you are sent to another page to start a conversation on review...And how about commenting on a listing...?

The comment system should be available right there with the review collapsable of corse and collapsed by default...

It should also be available for media...People need to comment the photos / videos you just uploaded...

I know there's worst commenting system out there but JReviews is flat, without any other option, no attachments, no emonicons, no links, not much...

Users get lost when you send them else where just to comment a review...

Just my 2 cents...

Just bought Komento and it doesn't seem to work with JReviews - we definitely need this pronto - what's the status?

Hello Haim,

I can't view the codes in JReviews because it's encrypted but I believe since JReviews are using Articles, it should work out of the box with JReviews since Komento renders the form on normal Joomla articles.
