Hello,

I added komento to my site to have more robust comment notifications. After installing and activating I received an error "not found". Attached is a screenshot.

I had similar error with built in comments that was recently fixed by stackideas support.
It seems like that is some similar bug in Komento, I already applied some fix into your site

JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_komento/includes/ajax/ajax.php
JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_komento/includes/komento.php

Can you check again is it work fine now?

By the way, this fix will included in next release version as well.

Thanks! The form is working. Now I am not sure if my configuration is incorrect or if there is a problem with notifications. Here is what I am attempting to configure.

User X leaves comment -> author Y (and only author Y) receives email notification and easysocial system notification

Author Y replies to user X comment -> user X (and only user X) receives email notification and easysocial system notifcation.

Can you please help with my configuration for this?

I thought I had to authorize a group to be eligible to receive notifications but I had emails queued up to go to all registered users. Think I got most deleted before they were sent. Now I have the group "teachers" selected because when I deselect and save it reverts back to a checkbox. I can't seem to leave the entire group list unselected.

Thanks!

Hey Jonathan,

I have check this into my locally, it seems like the currently how Komento work is if you tick 'teacher' user group from that 'new reply' section (screenshot : http://take.ms/6S3Ir ), the system will notify all the user which under this 'teacher' user group for this new reply notification.

I believe my colleague misunderstanding your requirement in your previous thread after discuss with my colleague and I also consult with our developer, it seems like our developer already done this feature whoever reply on that comment author, system will notify him someone reply to him in Easyblog blog post.

By the way, I can apply this feature into your current site.

Hey Jonathan,

You're welcome.

I am sorry that i didn't mention actually that feature we actually added in Easyblog build-in comment system instead of Komento,

I already applied those fix into your site, can you try switch to use Easyblog build-in comment system and see how it goes?

I tested. The initial comment on the article was fine. See screenshot. The comment from user "Jim Thomas" posted correctly and created an email notification and a easysocial system notification to "Jonathan Thompson". It also created a stream update.

The reply to the comment created an error. A screenshot is attached. When I refreshed the screen after the error the reply was visible on the site. Also there was no email notification or system notification to "Jim Thomas" that there was a reply to his comment.

Thanks very much with your help on this!

No problem. Thanks for helping me!

The comments and email notifications now work fine. Thanks!!!

The only issue remaining is the easysocial system notifications aren't working correctly

In this case I attached screen shots.

"Jim Thomas" commented on the blog post. Author :Jonathan Thompson" received email and system notification.

Author "Jonathan Thompson" replied to "Jim Thomas". Jim Thomas received email notification but no system notification.

There were email notifications for the "likes" on the comment and reply but no system notification.

The easysocial system notifications aren't critical but would certainly be nice if it is something that can be fixed.

Thanks again for your help!
