Hi there,

I just installed Komento 1.8.2 (already use EasySocial 1.1.6) and explore its settings. I face some issues concerning their integration and Komento functionality.

Komento:
Although I have enabled likes on comments, I can't 'like' any comment...
Also, permalink button doesn't respond...
FB shares a link to 'goo.gl' not the whore url e.g. http://goo.gl/example#kmt1
Integration:
I have integrated easysocial profiles successfully and now I need to get notifications on stream whenever a comment is submited and author/participants should be notified. There is no Comments App in the applications and I get no notifications from komento on easysocial.

My settings:
Notifications - EasySocial Notifications are all enabled.
Activities - EasySocial Integration all enabled, sync tried both, no result.

Thanks
Hello Marios,

You need to install Komento Apps in EasySocial. Please access Components > EasySocial > Applications > Install > Apps Komento. This Apps Komento you can download this from our site: http://stackideas.com/apps .

By the way, if your EasySocial version is 1.1.6, can you upgrade to the latest EasySocial v1.2.15 since there is a lot of changes have been made to EasySocial.

Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Thanks a lot, Mohd. Komento app solved the notification issue (my issue after all) in easysocial. Works great as intended!!

Note for anyone else: Its name is "Comments" in http://stackideas.com/apps while the app name is "Komento".

Now alla other issues concern Komento alone. Any ideas?

Ok, I explain myself.
In Komento settings Layout -> Comment Item I have opted all to 'Yes' but Enable ID.
However, below any of my K2 articles I get what's on the print screens.
The heart shaped like button, the permalink button do not work. Also, sharing via facebook, the link is broken (pointing to 'http://goo.gl/' instead of 'http://goo.gl/zu0eqq#kmt1' as twitter does.)

Hope this makes it easier for you to understand, thanks for your help.

Hello Marios,

I believe there is settings for admin to reply. Can you check the settings: Components > Komento > ACL > K2 > Admin > Like comments = Yes.
Regarding the sharing via Facebook, can you provide us with backend access and ftp access so that we are able to check and assist you on this issue much quicker.

Please be advise.
Thanks.

Yes! you'se surely right. I missed ACL...

Actually, I test it locally before I add it to my website. Till then I can't give you any access, if you have an other idea please tell.

Only that I don't get why setting 'No' to 'Add comment' on K2 guest & public doesn't prevent guests from commenting to my articles.

Another question.. do you know where I can find 'COM_EASYSOCIAL_KOMENTO_LIKE_SYSTEM_TITLE ', which pops on EasySocial Notifications dropdown. No search in my files return a file contaning that variable.. It could be solved if I updated ES, but still I should find it even now in a language file..

You're really helpful, I appreciate you work!

Hello Marios,

I am sorry for the late reply.
Do your Facebook share is like this? http://screencast.com/t/1nXneB31FssY . If yes, it is not the issue, since you tested this locally.

Regarding
I don't get why setting 'No' to 'Add comment' on K2 guest & public doesn't prevent guests from commenting to my articles.
Guest should not be able to comment on your k2 article. May I know do you set the ACL setting for guest? Please check: Components > Komento > ACL > K2 > Guests > Add comment = No?

May I know your version of Komento and EasySocial?

Please be advise.
Thanks.
