When a new guest comment was made, I was notified and approved it in the email and replied to the comment but the email notification kept appearing each time the Komento cron ran.

How can it be stopped from doing this?

Can you provide a screenshot of the issue because I'm not really understanding what you mean by 'email notification kept appearing each time the Komento cron ran'. Are you receiving multiple comment pending moderation emails or are you referring to something else?

The admin settings ask for only superusers to be notified when a new comment is made and this happens (the Komento cron was set up to run every 30 minutes to pick up any new comments.

If, for example, 'Comment A' is a new guest comment, all superusers receive an email about the new comment and asking for approval (all new guest comments are moderated).

However in the next 30 minute cron run, the same superusers are notified again about new guest 'Comment A', even if it has already been approved.

And the next cron run in 30 minutes, and the next and the next.....all notified about the same new Comment A.

I changed the cron run to every week at the moment because of the repeat emails.

Hey Richard,
I see. It seems you are referring to the two emails, new comment pending moderation email and new comment posted email(http://take.ms/Ksu0w). If this is the case, and you only want to enable pending moderation emails, you can turn off the 'Notify On New Comment Submission' setting.

For clarity, the difference between these two is that pending moderation emails are generally sent to moderators whereas the new comment posted emails are generally sent to normal users on the site.
